Les PM10, dont le diam&#xE8;tre n&#x2019;exc&#xE8;de pas 10 microm&#xE8;tres (10 millioni&#xE8;mes de m&#xE8;tre) peuvent p&#xE9;n&#xE9;trer et se loger profond&#xE9;ment &#xE0; l&#x2019;int&#xE9;rieur des poumons. Mais les PM2,5, plus petites encore, peuvent franchir la barri&#xE8;re pulmonaire et entrer dans la circulation sanguine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Or une nouvelle &#xE9;tude &#xE9;manant&#xA0; de r&#xE9;cents travaux de l&#x2019;Inserm, du <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;CNRS&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique&lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sera.asso.fr\/index.php\/glossaire\/cnrs\/\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">CNRS<\/a>, de l&#x2019;Inra, d&#x2019;Atmo Auvergne Rh&#xF4;ne-Alpes et de l&#x2019;Universit&#xE9;
